Solar Panels

Solar PV (photovoltaic) panels convert energy from the sun to create electricity through a range of solar wafers, cells and modules. The panels require only daylight to generate electricity and can generate power even on a cloudy Scottish day.

Heat Pumps

Air source heat pumps extract heat from the outside air in the same way that a fridge extracts heat from its inside. The pumps can extract heat from the air even when the outside temperature is well below zero degrees.

43.3p Tariff rate to remain in place until March 3rd 2012.-with guaranteed rate of 21.1p after the deadline!! Today in a bid to bring clarity to solar installations the DECC have issued a written statement from Chris Huhne outlining the government proposal should they lose the appeal process.
